Oh Yummy, I love watermelon! I often can be found literally digging into a half of a watermelon with a spoon. Doesn’t feel so good to eat fully ripe watermelon? It is a perfect summer treat and it’s truly a Superstar. Nothing says summer like holding a big slice of watermelon with two hands and letting the seeds and juice dripping all over our faces, naked chests … actually all over the place. For me watermelon says summer, picnics, family and friends. What’s your favorite way to eat or drink watermelon?
Here’s mine: Watermelon & Beetroot “Ruby Red” Juice
The combination maybe sounds bizarre but trust me taste like heaven and it’s so refreshing! By the way beets are one of my favorite vegetables, both for their beautiful color and nutritional value.
You’ll need 1/2 ripe and chilled watermelon and 1 medium sized beetroot (peeled), you can perfectly juice them. Alternatively, you can chop all the ingredients and pop them into a high speed blender. Serve and enjoy with a good company!…
