The choices of fruits are incredible in Malaysia. You will find an amazing selection in supermarkets, but for the cheapest prices and best quality, it is always best to go directly to the sources. I’ve never been so excited to visiting a market:) and it is definitely heaven on Earth for me!

As I stepped into the colorful market, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. There was a huge amount of fruits and veggies everywhere you look. A lovely 20 minutes’ walk from Ubud town center on a single-track path through beautiful rice fields, tiny shops where locals are selling handmade woodcraft, paintings, small unique souvenirs. Local farmers passing by with scooter, kids playing on the road side and some funny chickens crowing high up on trees than finally you arrived to the open-air cafe and organic farm the Sari Organik. You can sit inside the open air main building (on two levels, one is bit down closer to rice paddies settled with tables and chairs), or on little raised platforms with cushions.
