Ingredients
  • Ingredients for Chai Spice:
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1+1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground cloves
  • ⅛ tsp ground cardamom
  • ½ tsp all spice
  • ⅛ tsp ground anise
  • ⅛ tsp white pepper
  • Mix together all the ingredients, transfer to a glass jar with a tight fitting lid.
  • Ingredients for Smoothie:
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1+ ½ cup hazelnut milk, homemade preferred
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 heaped tsp nut butter, homemade preferred
  • seeds of ¼ vanilla bean
  • 2 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 2 tbsp rolled oats
  • 1 tsp chai mix
  • ½ tsp lucuma powder
  • one small handful of ice
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy (about 1-2 minutes depending on your blender). Pour into glass and serve with cinnamon stick, top with freshly ground nutmeg. Enjoy!
Notes
*additional sweetener, if needed 1 tbsp organic, unsulphured blackstrap molasses or coconut nectar
*optional add-ins: cashew or hulled hemp seeds, turmeric powder
