  • ½ cup walnuts
  • 1 cup pecan nuts
  • ½ cup shredded coconut
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup cacao powder
  • 10 soft dates
  • seeds of 1 vanilla bean
  • ¼ cup filtered water
  1. Combine all the ingredients in the food processor fitted with the S blade and process until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and roll into small dough balls, then flatten the balls and simply press a hole through the center. Make the hole with your finger or use apple corer to creating the shape.
  3. Place in the dehydrator and dehydrate at 140°F for 2 hours. Decrease heat to 115°F and continue to dehydrate about an hour.
  4. Remove from the dehydrator and dip each donuts in the melted chocolate slightly half way up the sides, letting the excess to drip off. Then place them on the wire rack chocolate side up. After you have dipped the donuts drizzle with chia seeds, just before the chocolate sets. Repeat until all donuts are coated. Store in an air tight container in the fridge. Enjoy!
