SERVICE ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
The staffs are super helpful, friendly, and more than willing to assist with any questions. The service very attentive with genuine smile. Our waiter Wayan warmly greeted us, he asked are we already been in the restaurant before? He kindly and passionately explained to us that Moksa serves mostly raw vegan foods with some cooked vegan additions. All items on the menu marked raw, or heated. About the menu, they do have a wonderfully balanced menu. A bit of this, bit of that. Including Italian, Mexican, classic favorites and totally extraordinary dishes, almost hard to choose from. Almost! They were welcoming us with bite sized tapas (raw crackers with pesto, herbs, cashew cheese and tomato) which is an excellent start especially for those who never had experience with raw food. We got a complimentary glass of infused water (Yes free water! And not just plain water.) I think Moksa is the only raw restaurant here in Bali who cares about this really important element. Every time the waitress passed our table refilled our glasses. The Executive Chef and Co-creator of the restaurant Chef Made Runatha (he’s the first Indonesian Certificated Plant Based Cuisine Chef who studied at Living Light Culinary Arts Institute, USA. Under the tutelage of Master Chef and Founder, Cherie Soria, known as the “Mother of Gourmet Raw Food Cuisine”). After we finished our main course he came to our table and he had a little chat with us. We also asked him to create us his favorite dessert. We just couldn’t choose from a list of sounds more and more delicious options. We ended up with two different, seriously out of this world dessert!!

TASTE ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Based on our raw restaurant experiences, I could say that I never experienced these kinds of gourmet raw food taste before. Actually, doesn’t taste like raw food at all. But that’s what it is, completely raw food. His endless creativity, the way how he preparing the meals, the plating and the flavoring really amazed me. The flavors are bold, fresh, vibrant and playful in textures. Really like taste sensation for your taste buds! The dishes are warm your soul and feeding your eyes too. Simply mind-blowing!
