Yesterday we spent a wonderful day, literally 7 hours walking through rice paddies and peaceful small villages. We saw amazing landscapes, beautiful traditional Balinese homes, temples, and meet with friendly local people. We didn’t actually have a specific plan to visiting any healthy food restaurants. But luckily, we found this hidden gem – Ojas Prana Cafe & Restaurant. They also running Yoga classes, Sound Healing Meditation classes and Kirtan. All the class comes with mineral water, fresh fruits or juice. Also, there is an option to choose between Yoga and breakfast or Yoga and dinner class.

Unfortunately, there are meat options on the menu but luckily there are also few raw and vegan options include Raw Zucchini Pasta (50K Rupiah), Chia pudding (35K Rupiah), Raw Chocolate Avocado Pudding (40K Rupiah), Raw Cheese Cake (40K Rupiah), Black Rice Pudding (25K Rupiah), Vegetable Sushi (40K Rupiah), Mushroom and Zucchini Salad (55K Rupiah). Prices I found very reasonable. Freshly made Juices are between 30 – 45K Rupiah (which is about 2-3 USD). Their Relax Day Juice (pineapple, ginger, lime, mint, apple and coconut water) hit the spot for me. Smoothies are between 30 – 55K Rupiah. All prices are excluded 15% Government tax and service charges.
Midway we already had our backpack lunch so we just ordered two lovely juice to cool down a little bit and enjoyed the beauty of the landscape.

Unfortunately, some of the juices and smoothies are including honey or yogurt. The staffs are very helpful, just ask if the dairy or honey can be removed from the Juice/Smoothie to make it vegan friendly. Even if it has a name that sounds vegan to you, always double check with the staff to ensure that your juice, smoothie or meal truly is vegan. Menus do not contain the food allergy, vegan, vegetarian symbols. We had to ask which items on the menu are vegan and which aren’t.
