Please note that
These are for serious chocolate lovers only!!
A soft and fudgy homemade Nutella fudge filling with a decadent and rich dark chocolate shell, lightly dusted with organic cacao powder. Smooth, creamy, dreamy, yummy, as guilt-free as possible;) And the best thing of it all is that it’s super easy to make! Oh my… I’m still drooling… You can have all the taste of store bought Nutella but without all the nasty ingredients.
These bars keep very well in the fridge, but I wonder how long this chocolate goodness will last in your home…
- 1 cup hazelnut made into butter
- ½ cup cashew
- 1 cup soft dates
- ⅓ cup nut milk
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- seeds of ½ vanilla bean
- ½ cup chopped hazelnut
- In a food processor (or high powered blender) grind the hazelnuts until they form a nut butter. It will take 5- 10 mins depending on the strength of your processor (scraping the sides occasionally). Add remaining ingredients (except ½ cup chopped hazelnuts) and process together until well combined. Add the chopped hazelnuts and dough to the mixing bowl and use the spatula to thoroughly combine. Press the dough into a parchment paper lined 15x15cm square pan. Place in the freezer to set (about 2 hours). Remove from freezer, spread melted chocolate over cooled bars and freeze until set, about 20 minutes. Remove from pan, turn upside down and spread melted chocolate. Place back in freezer for another 20 minutes. Cut them as large or small as you want, dust with cocoa powder. Store in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
