HmmmmmHmmmmmmmHmmmm … ohmygosh YUM … OK Krisztina, shhhhhhh, calm down and just breathe;) I’m sorry! I forgot how to typing for a second. But these are crazy good, soft and chewy-gooey caramels. Not only does it taste amazing and healty, it is also a simple way to make homemade caramel candy. If your taste buds have been screaming for a sweet they will love you after eating this deliciousness. Not to mention, your entire family will love it. Well, if you share with them! This is my first experience with homemade caramel candy and of course raw, vegan. Enjoy!

this recipe makes approximately 12 bite sized candy
Ingredients:
1 cup macadamia nuts, soaked 4 hours
1 cup raisins, soaked (can be switched for dates)
2 tbsp nut butter, homemade preferred
pinch himalayan salt
Place all the ingredients into your food processor fitted with the S blade and process until well combined (stick together). Place mixture into a bowl and place into the freezer to firm for about 30 minutes. Remove from freezer and form into rolls. Cut the caramels into candies with a sharp knife. Store in the fridge if desired 🙂
additional ingredients:
Himalayan rock salt, crushed pecans, ginger powder
also you can dip them in melted chocolate

What a delicious and yet healthy treat! I might be tempted to dip these babies in chocolate for a real decadent flourish. 😉
Did you say CHOCOLATE? I like the way you think but these babies haven’t got a chance 😉 I need to make them again.
I love these! I would dip half of them into vegan white chocolate & then, i would sprinkle some sunflower seeds over them! Yummm!
