We are getting ready for Halloween with healthy, easy to make and super fun ideas! If you’re cutting back on sweets or living with food allergies, Halloween can be a scary time. Try these raw, vegan treats that everyone can enjoy without the feeling guilty. One of the great things I love about raw desserts is how adaptable they often are. You can sweeten to taste with a range of different sweeteners (dried fruits, date puree, coconut nectar, coconut sugar, molasses, stevia …) Here are some not to scary raw, vegan sweet choices for keeping Halloween as healthy as it is fun. They aren’t loaded with all those ingredients you can’t even pronounce on the label – they are free of processed junk, and all of the recipes ingredients are actually good for you!

As the days are creeping closer to Halloween, I’m sure you will be on the hunt for those spooky sweet treats to serve at your Halloween party for your family, friends and yourself to enjoy! I’ve been trying to come up with cute or creepy (I think I nailed it! they look a little bit halloweeny, don’t you think?) goodies to feed your Halloween fun and to satisfy that sweet tooth. Did I mention that these are taste super yummy? Yes, yes they do, and they are all raw and vegan, Yippee! I truly hope you enjoy these recipes.

I’ve been working on this recipes in the past few days and I’m so excited to share with you!  Four words, treats without the tricks and as always, they are Raw, Vegan but the fancy kind 😉 So a bunch of halloween inspired pumpkin recipe coming your way in the next few days,  if you are crazy about all things pumpkin, keep an eye out!

Things you’ll need:

Base: pecan, rolled oats, buckwheat, dates, cacao powder, coconut oil
Goji layer: dates, goji berries
Pumpkin layer: pumkin, coconut milk, dates, pumkin spice
Chocolate: cacao powder, coconut oil, coconut nectar

Filling: persimmon, orange, goji berries, cashew

Things you’ll need: shredded coconut, flax seeds, buckwheat, poppy seeds, dates, coconut oil, cacao powder, orange juice, beetroot

There all sorts of ways you can make these bars look more fun and attractive for the kids. I just used some melted chocolate but you can use melted white chocolate and draw spiders, spooky things or whatever the inner artist in you tells you to do.
